You can call your beef head gorilla friend who lives in the gym and have one too many protein shakes and ask him for guidance. This could be good or it could be very demotivating as you will always feel like he/she is looking down on you as you are not as fit as them or as strong as them or you can call a Personal Trainer.
A personal trainer is the best way for many reasons. One they know as much as your beef head friend about what works and what you need to get into the shape that you want to get into. Secondly they are there to work with you, they will not look down on you and most importantly they will motivate you into getting fit again.
There are a lot of Personal Trainers in Manchester but there is only one that I would recommend and that is Gail Ball. She is fully qualified PT and the areas that she focuses on is very extensive.
