Club Promoters in London

Now I have been know to have a few nights out in London and majority of the time I will end up at one of the top clubs. Top clubs at the moment will me Chinawhite, Movida, Amika and the list goes on. Now with the whole Celebrity faze that the UK is in all the clubs are pushing the limits here as to who they want in there and they are leaving this up to any Tom, Dick or Harry to bring the creme de la creme of club goers to the venues.

Now I have dealt with some club promoters in the past and I must say majority of them are just idiots. They actually have no idea what they are doing and are giving the Club Promoting Industry a bad name. Promoting is such a hard game and in the past it was who you knew not what you can do online.

Anyone can build a site and get in online. I can do it and if I wanted to I could get onto the first page of Google, wait I have done that. Does that I mean anything about promoting for clubs....NO.

Now I will not name these promoters in question that I am going on about, their time in the limelight will be cut short as with any business if you cant do the job the people will tell you and I believe it will happen to them soon.

To all the club promoters out there who do a good job, hats off to you guys.

That is me on Club Promoters in London

Pouting gone wrong - Duck Face

Now something that I have noticed in my time going out in this world to various bars and clubs. Women have started Pouting, I think it is something that they have picked up from a lady you might know, Victoria Beckham. Now if a lady gets this right it can change an average picture into a great picture but when they over pout they become DUCK FACE. I have comprised a collection of Duck Faced wannabe's

Suns out Guns out !!!

What a day!!!. There is nothing better than opening your eyes and seeing blue sky out your window. It is the best way to wake up in the morning, well OK, the second best way to wake up in the morning. I know it is still March and it is still not officially summer but I am willing summer here and with summer in mind, I came to work in slops and it feels so much better. I did get a few weird looks on the tube / train this morning and I did have one half asleep lady stand on a toe but that was OK.

So I would like everyone who reads this post to cross you fingers and hope this weather is here for the whole of the summer. If it stays it will be a GREAT summer but if it starts to rain it will be an OK summer.

Movida Nightclub in London

If I had to ask you do you know Movida Nightclub, most if not all of you would answer Yes. I have ventured to this club twice and I have two things to say about it. One it is very pretentious and two is the women are stunning. I say pretentious because I hate the fact that you need to be made of money to go there and have a good time, when someone can spend what is equivalent to my monthly wages in a single night it makes me a little sick and on the flip side the women that they bring into the club are hot, the type of women that want and will do anything to become a WAG. If you are in there and they see you with a bottle of vodka, you will have a flourish of women wanting to know you and as soon as it is finished they do not want to know you. I will be happy to say that if you can find your future wife at a venue like this I will cut off my left testicle. The women there are not looking for a boyfriend but free booze and a shag at the end of the night...Sluts.

I have put a few images for you see what kind of women go there but beware that they will take you money in the form of booze and shopping....

Matter to Reopen in 2011

Greenwich super club Matter looks set to reopen after a Summer of inactivity. An advert purportedly from the club looking for “managers at all levels” was posted on gumtree yesterday. Resident Advisor confirmed the rumour with a post last night revealing that the club would be run by behemoths AEG and would no longer have anything to do with its previous owners and creators,Fabric.

The club closed earlier this year after haemorrhaging cash throughout its two year life due to its out of the way position and the frequent jubilee line weekend closures. As its sister club, Fabric was taken into administration with it but to the relief of the London clubbing community was saved in its final hour with a refinancing deal.
The club was purpose built by the owners of Fabric and was hailed as visionary and highly ambitious, sadly a vision that was not successfully realised while in the hands of its creators. Perhaps now the mighty custom body sonic sound system can reawaken from its slumber, blow the dust of its colossal subs and blast out some decent music once more.
