Summer time is here 2011

So the weekend has passed and I think a lot of you will feel the same, Summer is here and boy was it a good weekend. The sun was out in full force all weekend. I can confirm some sun burn and I was not even trying to give myself a golden brown tan, it just came with out any effort.

You can always tell when the sun is out and not by the heat, blue skies or the glare you get with out glasses but by the Brits themselves. As soon as the sun is out, off come the shirts and that is how they stay without thinking about protecting themselves with sun block and at the end of the day they are as pink / red as a lobster and walking with their arms out by their sides cause it hurts to bad.

All anyone can do now is cross their fingers and hope and pray that the weather stays here for the duration and we have an awesome summer. Praise be to global warning.

Suns out Guns out !!!

What a day!!!. There is nothing better than opening your eyes and seeing blue sky out your window. It is the best way to wake up in the morning, well OK, the second best way to wake up in the morning. I know it is still March and it is still not officially summer but I am willing summer here and with summer in mind, I came to work in slops and it feels so much better. I did get a few weird looks on the tube / train this morning and I did have one half asleep lady stand on a toe but that was OK.

So I would like everyone who reads this post to cross you fingers and hope this weather is here for the whole of the summer. If it stays it will be a GREAT summer but if it starts to rain it will be an OK summer.
