I just don't get how this day of celebration between two people has gone from waking up next to them and saying "I love you" or giving them a call and expressing your feelings goes to spending a portion of you wages on a product to prove your love and taking them to dinner at an over the top restaurant.
If you are someone who expects to be brought a gift as evidence of Love, are you really in love with your partner?
